Senior year of undergrad, my best friend Jake Schroeder and I were out at dinner talking about what we wanted to do for work for the upcoming summer. We walked out of dinner committed to starting a line striping business from the ground up.
We learned a LOT throughout the process. We started small – with our first job being a 15 stall dental office re-stripe. We ended the season doing a new layout for Target Headquarter — yes, THE Target Corp Headquarters — as well as a very large Home Depot parking lot in Duluth.
I also concurrently bought a drone to learn to film with that summer.
